How To Use

Normal Mode (System Tray):

SheepDog runs in the Windows system tray and can be activated in two ways:

Choosing the "Reposition Windows" menu option after right clicking on SheepDog in the system tray.
Pressing a hotkey combination. The hotkey defaults to Win+W, but can be changed in the "Options" menu.

When activated, SheepDog will re-position the off-screen all windows back
onto your main screen.

Command Line Mode:

SheepDog can also be run as a command line program. This allows you to
create a shortcut to reposition windows, run it from a command prompt,
or incorporate it in an application launcher program. When run in this mode,
SheepDog will close after repositioning off-screen windows.

To run SheepDog in this way, execute it with the "/RepositionNow" parameter:

SheepDog /RepositionNow

How To Install

There are 2 ways to install SheepDog:

Install SheepDog using the SheepDogSetup.msi setup package. This will place SheepDog in your Program Files directory and set it to run on startup.
Copy SheepDog.exe onto your computer without installing it. A zip file containing SheepDog is available for download. (If you wish for SheepDog to always run, you can create a shortcut to it in your Windows startup folder.)

Cleaned up SheepDog setup so that it can be built in release mode, and made some minor changes to work with the final release of WiX 3.0.

I have 2 screens (monitors) here, the second on the right side is a extension of the first one - but the second monitor is switched off most of the time. Sometimes, if I start an application, it goes to the right (switched off) screen.
Would it be possible to move all the windows from all the screens to screen nr 1? Actually, the second screen is a projector, and I don't want to switch the thing everytime on to move the windows to the left screen. - I know it works also with keyboard shortcuts but a software would be better :)

It would be useful for SheepDog to have an MSI setup package. This package will:

-Install SheepDog
-Place a shortcut to it in the start menu
-Place a shortcut to it in the startup menu
-Start the application

This is the first beta release of SheepDog. This is a fully functional release, but has not yet been thoroughly tested.

Features missing from this release that will be included in the 1.0 release are:

A setup package
Better support for non-rectangular multi-monitor configurations
Thorough testing on versions of Windows including Windows 2000 and later (currently only Windows XP and Windows Vista 64 have been tested)
